Service Agreement

 

Booking and Scheduling

  1. Service Requests: All service requests must be made through our website, by email, or by phone.
  2. Booking Confirmation: Your booking is confirmed only after you receive a confirmation email or message from us with the scheduled date and time.
  3. Time Estimates: While we provide estimated time frames for assembly, these are approximate and may vary based on complexity, quantity, and on-site conditions.
 

Service Execution

  1. Access: You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to your premises for our technicians to perform the assembly services.
  2. Work Area: A clean, adequately lit, and spacious area must be provided for furniture assembly. Our technicians may decline to proceed if the work area is deemed unsafe or unsuitable.
  3. Assembly Instructions: All furniture must be accompanied by manufacturer’s assembly instructions. We may not be able to complete assembly without proper instructions.
  4. Parts and Components: You are responsible for ensuring all necessary parts, components, and hardware are available prior to our arrival. Missing parts may result in incomplete assembly and additional service fees for return visits.
 

Payment Terms

  1. Rates: Our service rates are as published on our website or as quoted to you directly. Rates are subject to change without notice.
  2. Payment Methods: We accept payment via cash, cheque or e-transfer.
  3. Payment Timing: Payment is due upon completion of services unless prior arrangements have been made.
  4. Minimum Service Fee: A minimum service fee applies to all bookings as specified on our website.
  5. Additional Charges: Additional charges may apply for:
    • Service outside our standard service area
    • Complex or time-consuming assemblies
    • Return visits due to circumstances outside our control
    • After-hours or weekend service
 

Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

  1. Cancellation by Client: You may cancel a scheduled appointment with at least 24 hours’ notice without penalty. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a cancellation fee of 25% of the quoted service price.
  2. Cancellation by Company: We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to weather conditions, technician illness, or emergencies.
  3. No-Shows: If you are not present at the scheduled time and location, a no-show fee equivalent to 50% of the quoted service price may be charged.
 

Workmanship Guarantee

Our Workmanship Guarantee is governed by the terms outlined in our separate Workmanship Guarantee policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms and Conditions.


Limitation of Liability

  1. Pre-existing Damage: We are not responsible for any pre-existing damage to furniture or property. Please inspect furniture for damage before our arrival.
  2. During Assembly: While we take all reasonable care during assembly, we are not liable for:
    • Inherent defects in materials
    • Manufacturer design flaws
    • Damage resulting from normal assembly processes when following manufacturer instructions
    • Wear and tear or damage occurring after completion of assembly
  3. Property Damage: In the event of property damage directly caused by our technicians, our liability is limited to the cost of repair or replacement, whichever is less.
  4. Personal Injury: We maintain appropriate insurance coverage for personal injury. Any claims must be reported immediately.
  5. Consequential Damages: We are not liable for any indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages arising from our services.
 

Customer Responsibilities

  1. Accuracy of Information: You are responsible for providing accurate information regarding the furniture to be assembled, location, and any specific requirements.
  2. Inspection: You should inspect all assembled furniture upon completion of our services and report any issues immediately.
  3. Item Verification: You are responsible for verifying that the correct items have been delivered before scheduling assembly.
  4. Permissions: You confirm that you have the necessary permissions to have furniture assembled at the specified location.
 

Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms and Conditions.


Intellectual Property
